A Bird's Eye View
I can smell the salt air and feel the warmth of the sun with this piece. A heron watching, gazing. I would love to have that "Bird's Eye View" of the salt marsh pond.
Memories of my childhood at the Quonnie Pond in Rhode Island. The heron was a favorite of mine. They were just so still and always had the best view in places I was not always able to get to. I remember those beautiful, quiet mornings when the morning fog began to lift, and all the natural wonders felt safe to emerge.
